Volume II Forward
It has been a little over a year now since the publication of the first volume of R.A. Waldron’s The God Genes Decoded was issued. We were given the hint that the second volume was, at least, conceived of already in the mind of the author just by his titling of it. And as is quite obvious, to you, the reader, because you are now holding the continuation of it in this, its second volume, a promissory not has been paid in full. You may be perusing its pages in a store or just beginning to settle down to begin its reading somewhere. To those of you who have already had the opportunity to read volume one, you have not had to wait long for this visionary work to be followed up in kind. In the preface to that original work, I spoke of a dream concerning Nu Heri Mensa Ogun (his initiated name) and myself that I’d had many years ago upon first meeting the author. I explained that we were, in that dream, not just looking out of a window onto the stars. We were looking for an auspicious moment to incarnate before we were even born. In further retrospect, much later I realized that what we were standing in front of was a “star gate”, a place of egress between incarnations. The twin stars revolving around each other that we paid so close attention to were a reflection of the nature of our relationship to each other.
Since the time of our first meeting to the partnering of our work on The God Genes, a development of both of us has been happening simultaneously. And although we have not had as much time to discuss this book as we did on the previous one there has been steady growth, a progression towards inevitably convergent paths in our work. But there are also apparent divergences in our respective fields as esotericists. These are but the arcs in the path of two stars who apparently move away from each other due to there own individual courses because of the electric particles and hence pushing actions within their respective fields of energy. But remain orbital of each other because there is also the magnetic quality that draws them within close proximity of each other. The God Genes is in this respect, our point of attraction to this work.
Aside from the preface to this and the preceding book, I am also the artist to whom the major illustrations are credited. My work on this book is composed of the visual imagery that constitutes its pages. While Nu Heri gives the book its intellectual and spiritual content, it is here that my part of the equation in this collaborative effort is made. Our interpersonal expansion of consciousness has produced this work. We operate in this regard: he, the author, the word, acts like the left hemisphere of the brain with its analytical and logical side imparting the information. And I, the artist or illustrator of these written words, function as the right brain with its synthesis of visually congregative interpretation. These two ways of communicating cerebrally, converge in the minds of every human individual to reveal the endless possibilities of multi-dimensional thought. When however the word is spoken and/or heard from a quintessentially vibratory perspective, then it imparts a right brained form of conscious awareness and knowing, i.e., images. While some of the author’s writing is indeed metaphorical and poetic in its content (another right-brained function) it is Nu Heri’s handling of the names of the deities, ancestors and spirits at the heart of his subject that are part and parcel of what makes this work so unique, yet familiar to the human spirit. Conversely, the illustrations of this work are, of course hieroglyphic and, therefore a type of written word. In this, I am not suggesting that I personally wrote or co-authored The God Genes. Its message is spoken from a voice that I am sure that the author would agree supersedes our personal consciousness. In this, we would also agree that, we two are conduits of a stream of consciousness that is Universal in its scope, magnitude and message.
It would, in fact, be fair to say that a global expansion of consciousness has resulted since last Waldron first put his exegesis of the “anatomy and evolution of consciousness” onto those pages. Not everyone, the world over has been exposed to this work, yet. But many things have transpired universally around the world that is noteworthy since that time. And for those of us who are aware of its implications, the anticipation of the changes that will be ushered in, as well as those that will follow, i.e., the much talked about “New Age”, are not far behind the publication of this second work. In fact, they are actually already here. The state of affairs today are oracular. Their language is cast in a series of vibratory tones that permeate the planet and are initiating this change. They rustle in the winds of change as the whispered words from an omen that are fixed upon the lips of a shaman. These words telling us some of what the future portends in a clear, yet enigmatic manner. The message from this oracle is much like the “hoarfrost underfoot” that signals that “solid ice is not far off”. The aforementioned quote which comes from the second line of the second hexagram of the Chinese oracle, called the I Ching or Book of Changes speaks to the heart of this. Indeed we would be correct to evaluate that the current world stage is one poised with the dramatic tension of an epic saga as it waits passively for this change to come. As is eternally the case, things are constantly changing just as the wise ones have warned us. And yet, as the cliché goes about change, there are many things that will still remain the same.
The continued war that has ensued in the new millennium, like a bath of blood extends itself beyond not only the shores of the Middle East. It is accompanied by a kind of internal militaristic campaign within the hearts and minds of the masses of people who are longing for light. The winds of the nether world are rolling full force like the waves of an angry sea upon the shores of men’s minds. Winter is again coming. And with it, there exists a quiet tempest in the midst of the darkening of the light. We will have but two years left, as we have been informed by those venerable Shamans from the days of old, before the date of the Mayan Calendar “zeros out” and the world as we know it irrevocably changes. All of the Ancients have prophesied of the days we face ahead in the very near future. They have spoken of the time when the practical knowledge of the spirit would now begin animating the body of this change. This inevitably will lead to the enabling of the necessary paradigm shift that I mentioned in the preface of the first volume to begin to materialize.
Some have interpreted this coming event from an apocalyptic perspective and fear-filled visions of cataclysms and disasters. The solid ice they tell us is not far from us and with it the face of death. As it is, and ever has been with the winter season, there is a cessation of life that must precede rebirth and everything that has a beginning must have an ending. The same is true of the spiritual initiatory forces that are at work on this planet, but will they be as fearsome as we might be led to believe? The voices of the Old Ones still speak from within our midst from the depths of the Abyss. These ancestors are the encapsulated spirits that reside in the fleshly offerings of our modern day Shamans, Guides, Healers, Teachers, Priests and Prophets. They instruct us that in truth, only those who have a vested interest in preventing the progression of change have anything to fear and even such things are at best illusory. They are but empty specters and ghosts trying to resist the resurgent powers of the atavisms that have come to set the world back on course towards enlightenment.
This course is a crash course no doubt, but it is hardly the type of collision that we are told to expect if we but prepare ourselves in accordance with the wisdom and guidance that is screaming at us through the events around us. We are being prodded into storing the seeds of a new life in a store house from which they have been harvested from the principles of our remote past. They have been prepared for us in the here and now as we look towards the future.
They are to be found, partially in the written pages of this book, but most importantly, they are hidden within the hearts minds and spirits of the human individual who has opened themselves to the possibilities of love. It was love that Waldron first proclaimed was the impetus for volume I. In this volume, he goes further on to explain, the nature of co-relationships that exists between everything in the Universe as it is understood from the cosmology of the trinity of Tehuti, the patron god of Wisdom, his wife Sofik Aabut, Mistress of the Liberal Arts and Sciences and Khnemu, who is an aspect of the creative principle and the “Maker of human kind who sits at the potters wheel and shapes men”. Their cosmology is the basis, the blueprint for creating an enlightened society based on wisdom and creativity guided by love. So I leave you the reader to determine what your part in the building of the New Age will look like. Our role in this regard has only been to re-draft the original blue print as faithfully as we can. We have rebuilt the storehouse of images that stores these mythological stories and their mystical mores. It is all of us collectively that must build the house of love.
Love and Light,
